Piet Rogie /Huub Laurens: PIECE T(H)REE (Here we are now) 2008

Registration of a solo dance performance by Rotterdam choreographer/dancer Piet Rogie with live video-projections by visual artist Huub Laurens and a light program by Paul van Laak.
PIECE T(H)REE was performed in the Krijn Boon Studio of the Rotterdamse Schouwburg and registrated on video by Huub Laurens. The combination of large-scale light- and video projections created various architectural surroundings highlighting the presence of this posing and moving tiny human figure. By this Piet Rogie's fysical presence moved between vulnerability and at the same time monumentality.
The video registration of the video-light projections caused visual interferences which give an extra vibration to this documentary.
